A few months post their initial meeting, he reached out once more and treated the family to dinner. “Last night, we enjoyed a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to Babes Chicken for a family dinner. It was an absolute blast to hang out and share a meal with him.”

While this encounter seemed enough to bring joy to the family, Shaq was far from finished with his generosity. The following day, he escorted the family to a Mercedes dealership and ordered a custom 15-passenger van for them, which they are expected to receive in mid-July.

The family was left astonished by his kindness, and the children were overjoyed, showering their hero with hugs.

But that wasn’t all Shaq had in store! The family went out to dine with the NBA star once more. During this meal, he radiated happiness throughout.

“He then took us to dinner at the Rainforest Café, where he covered the cost of another table’s entire meal, unaware that they were there on missions from out of state. And then he tipped our waitress $1000 after hearing about her car troubles that day,” Karissa shared.

During their second dinner, Shaq learned about the father of nine struggling with his truck; the air conditioning and heating had not functioned properly for quite some time.

Without hesitation, Shaq sprang into action. He took the family to a Ford dealership and gifted the dad a brand-new truck!

The family felt immensely blessed! Beyond his extravagant gifts, Shaquille O’Neal devoted quality time to them, which was equally treasured.
