Former President Donald Trump criticized Fox News senior White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich over the weekend, arguing that she failed to challenge Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) during a recent interview on The Sunday Briefing. Khanna discussed topics including gas and food prices, U.S. involvement in Iran, and the release of government files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Khanna also addressed trade issues, expressing concern over Chinese steel imports and advocating for policies that prioritize domestic production. He called for stronger measures to ensure American manufacturing and accused China of unfair trade practices.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump said Heinrich did not properly counter Khanna’s statements, claiming that this undermined Fox News’ broader coverage. He expressed frustration with Democratic guests on the network and argued that the lack of immediate fact-checking contributed to misinformation.

Trump extended his criticism to other media figures, referencing Bill Maher and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, and suggested that their appearances further distort public perception. He also referenced Heinrich’s fiancé, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), noting his voting record in relation to Trump.

Khanna responded by emphasizing the purpose of his Fox News appearances, stating that his goal is to reach a wider audience, including voters who support Trump. He described his interviews as a way to discuss economic policies and infrastructure development without resorting to personal attacks.

Heinrich has not publicly commented on Trump’s criticism. The incident reflects ongoing tensions between the former president and media organizations, including networks that continue to host political figures from both parties for interviews and analysis.
