Fetterman singled out Seattle’s mayor, describing her socialist approach and dismissive attitude toward millionaires leaving the city.
When residents and business owners vote with their feet, leaders should listen — not wave goodbye, Fetterman suggested.
He also took aim at New York City’s democratic socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani,
accusing him of pushing aggressive policies against the wealthy that are hurting the city.
Fetterman highlighted how these extreme positions are causing residents and jobs to flee to states with better leadership.
“People can move, and they can vote with their feet,”
Fetterman said — a simple truth that explains why places like Florida continue to thrive.
He even referenced Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s sharp line about Mamdani becoming an accidental real estate agent for other states.
This migration of billions of dollars
out of high-tax blue states to red states is no coincidence. It reflects the success of pro-growth, America First policies.
Fetterman also called attention to concerning candidates in his own party, including a self-described communist running in Maine against Sen. Susan Collins.
Even as a dedicated Democrat,
Fetterman sounds increasingly at odds with the radical direction of today’s far-left Democrats.
His willingness to speak candidly sets him apart in a party that often seems more focused on ideology than practical results for American families.
President Trump has long warned
about the dangers of socialist policies taking root in America. Fetterman’s recent comments appear to validate many of those concerns.
