In addition, authorities allege that more than $29,000 in funds linked to victims was used to rent another property in Westland, Michigan.
Investigators also point to real estate transactions as part of the broader case. One involves a legally incapacitated woman identified as Frankie James.
According to prosecutors, her home was sold for one dollar to a company owned by Corey Baskin, the judge’s husband. The property was later resold for a significantly higher amount.
Another case cited involves Ethel Ciotti, a resident of Lincoln Park, Michigan. Her home was reportedly sold by a court-appointed representative.
That representative, Avery Bradley, is identified as the father of Bradley-Baskin. Authorities say both individuals are part of the ongoing federal investigation led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Federal prosecutors have also taken steps to secure assets they believe may be tied to the alleged activities. This includes filing liens on properties in Oak Park and Southfield, Michigan.
