Trump Issues Blunt Warning to Iran After New U.S. Strikes: “The Islamic Republic Will No Longer Exist”

President Donald Trump issued one of his strongest warnings yet to Iran after the U.S. military launched fresh strikes against Iranian military targets in response to what American officials described as repeated violations of a ceasefire agreement.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the United States had targeted Iranian missile and drone storage sites, along with coastal radar installations, after Tehran allegedly continued attacking commercial shipping and U.S. interests in the region.

“United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN!” Trump wrote.

The president suggested America’s patience was running out.

“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist.”

U.S. Military Responds to New Iranian Attacks

According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), American forces carried out precision strikes after Iran allegedly launched another attack against a commercial vessel despite the existing ceasefire.

Military officials said the operation targeted military surveillance infrastructure, communications systems, air defense positions, drone storage facilities, and mine-laying capabilities used by Iranian forces.

The strikes mark another escalation in the ongoing confrontation between Washington and Tehran as both sides accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.

Trump Highlights Strength Through Deterrence

The administration has argued that responding decisively to attacks on American forces and international shipping is essential to restoring stability in the Middle East and protecting global commerce.

Supporters say Trump’s approach combines military strength with continued diplomatic efforts, while warning that future attacks will bring increasingly serious consequences.

Poll Shows Improvement in Trump’s Approval Rating

A recent Daily Mail/JL Partners survey found Trump’s job approval rating rose to 47 percent, his strongest showing of the year according to that poll.

Pollsters suggested the increase may be connected to public perceptions of the administration’s handling of the Iran conflict and improving energy prices.

The survey also found overwhelming support among Republican voters, with 82 percent approving of the president’s job performance.

Falling Energy Prices Boost Optimism

Trump has repeatedly pointed to lower oil and gasoline prices as evidence that greater stability in the Middle East benefits American consumers.

In a recent Truth Social post, the president celebrated record levels of oil moving through the Strait of Hormuz and argued that global markets were responding positively.

“Oil prices are tumbling down, and the world is a much safer place,” Trump wrote.

Whether the ceasefire ultimately holds remains uncertain, but the administration has made clear that any additional attacks on U.S. forces or international shipping will be met with a swift military response.
