Arrest Warrant Issued for Prominent Liberal Politician After Missing Court Date

Far-Left Green Party Candidate Jill Stein Skips Court — Arrest Warrant Issued After Campus Chaos

A Missouri judge had to issue an arrest warrant for Jill Stein this week.

The three-time Green Party presidential nominee failed to show up for a court hearing tied to her arrest at a disruptive anti-Israel campus protest.

Stein, 76, and her attorney ignored the order to appear in person Monday morning in St. Louis.

The Green Party activist faces one count of first-degree trespassing and one count of fourth-degree assault from the April 27, 2024, melee at Washington University.

The warrant did not stay active for long.

Later that same afternoon, Stein’s lawyer Joseph Welch finally appeared and convinced Judge Karma Johnson to quash it. Court records show the misdemeanor case is now continued until September 14. Stein and all parties will be required to show up in person next time.

Here is what actually happened on campus that day.

The demonstration started in Forest Park. Protesters then moved onto the university’s Danforth Campus, entered the John M. Olin Library, and began pitching tents outside.

Police gave repeated orders to leave. After a final warning that they were under arrest for trespassing, the crowd locked arms and shouted “hold the line” as officers moved in.

According to charging documents, Stein allegedly grabbed a bicycle being used by Officer Conroy. Another officer stepped in. The bicycle struck Officer Moore in his left forearm.

As the bicycle was lifted, Stein allegedly kicked Officer Moore several times in his right leg near the groin.

Moore was later diagnosed with a strained left forearm, a bruise on the back of his right leg, and a groin injury.

Footage posted to Stein’s own X account showed police taking the far-left candidate into custody and walking her away from the protest. Her campaign manager Jason Call and deputy Kelly Merrill-Caye were among the dozens of demonstrators arrested that day.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Melissa Price Smith made the stakes clear when charges were filed in 2025.

“These misdemeanor criminal charges are not a statement about the freedoms of speech or assembly, which we honor and uphold as part of our Constitution,” Smith said. “They are not a statement about the subject of the protest, which was the situation in Gaza. These charges merely reflect our professional judgment that we have the evidence to prove these particular criminal charges beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Jill Stein ran as the Green Party’s presidential nominee in 2012, 2016, and 2024.

Her strongest performance came in 2016, when she pulled just over 1.4 million votes — 1.07 percent of the national total.

This is the same radical left that lectures Americans about “mostly peaceful” protests while officers end up with strained arms, bruised legs, and groin injuries.

It is the same fringe movement that treats court dates as optional until a warrant appears.

And it is the same Green Party that has spent years pulling votes away from Democrats while offering no serious alternative on crime, borders, or American strength.

Law-and-order voters notice these things.

When radical activists treat police officers as obstacles and courtrooms as inconveniences, the contrast with the America First agenda becomes sharper every single day.

September 14 is the next court date. Americans will be watching whether accountability finally sticks.
