President Donald Trump delivered one of his strongest warnings yet to Iran on Wednesday, signaling that the United States is prepared to take further action if Tehran continues delaying negotiations aimed at restoring stability in the region.

Speaking with Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump said he is considering additional military measures targeting key Iranian infrastructure after accusing the regime of refusing to engage seriously in ongoing peace discussions.
“We’re getting very close to making some major decisions,” Trump reportedly said, emphasizing that Iran has repeatedly missed opportunities to reach an agreement through diplomacy.
The comments followed a forceful message posted by the president on Truth Social, where he criticized Iranian leaders for what he described as prolonged delays in negotiations.
“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them,” Trump wrote. “Now they will have to pay the price.”
Trump also argued that recent military operations have significantly weakened Iran’s capabilities and reduced its ability to threaten regional security.
The warning came after an American Apache helicopter was brought down near the Strait of Hormuz earlier this week. According to reports, the helicopter’s crew survived the incident and was later rescued in a sophisticated recovery operation coordinated by U.S. forces.
Trump praised the pilots involved and described their survival as extraordinary, highlighting the professionalism and training of America’s military personnel.
Following the attack, U.S. forces launched defensive strikes against Iranian military assets, targeting radar systems, air defense positions, and other strategic facilities believed to support future attacks against American personnel and allies.
Administration officials described the operation as a measured response designed to protect U.S. interests and maintain regional stability.
According to reports, the strikes successfully degraded a substantial portion of Iran’s recently restored military infrastructure.
Despite the latest escalation, Trump has continued to express optimism that diplomacy remains possible. The president recently suggested that negotiations could still produce a breakthrough if Iranian leaders choose cooperation over confrontation.
Supporters of the administration argue that Trump’s combination of strong deterrence and direct diplomacy has strengthened America’s position while increasing pressure on Tehran to negotiate seriously.
The developments come as global markets and international observers closely monitor the situation, particularly regarding the security of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important energy shipping routes.
With tensions rising and negotiations at a critical stage, the coming days could prove decisive in determining whether the region moves toward a diplomatic resolution or faces additional confrontation.
For now, the Trump administration appears committed to maintaining maximum pressure while keeping the door open for a comprehensive agreement that addresses security concerns, protects American interests, and promotes long-term stability throughout the Middle East.
