House Republicans scored a major legislative victory Tuesday after narrowly passing a reconciliation package that provides long-term funding for immigration enforcement and border security initiatives through the remainder of President Donald Trump’s second term.
The measure passed the House by a razor-thin 214-212 vote, highlighting the high stakes surrounding one of the administration’s top priorities: securing the border and strengthening immigration enforcement.
